Summer School

Introduction

The Summer School is run by fully qualified teaching professionals who specialise in the performing arts. All our tutors are current practitioners with enhanced DBS clearance.

The week consists of dance, drama and musical theatre with all students participating in a rotation of workshops for the first two days of the week. Students then opt for activities that they would like to specialise in for the Saturday performance. Workshops include contemporary dance, scripted drama, improvisation, singing and instrumentation.

2017 school

The dates for the 2017 school are Monday 31st July-Friday 4th August from 9am-4pm.  There will be a performance in the theatre on Saturday 5th August at 7pm.

Fees

A fee of £120 for the week includes tuition, supervision, Summer School t-shirt, two tickets to the Saturday performance and a souvenir programme. The Summer School fee also includes a year’s student membership to the full society.
